Hub geographical area

The Regional Hub area is the west part of France. The Hubs’s objective is to create a local network centered on the Pays de la Loire Region and Bretagne Region, as it is the same climate zone and has the same types of agricultural productions.

Hub topic(s)

The Regional Hub will focus on plant products. More precisely,  around brewing co-products (drèche), cider (marc), fruits, vegetables, wine, horticulture, aromatic and medicinal plants.

Economic sectors, clusters and/or value chains involved

The Hub’s objective is to bring together different types of actors:

  • Research
  • Institutions
  • Upstream companies
  • Processing companies
  • Distributors.

Central valorisation activities in the hub

  • Networking of actors 
  • Liasing with ongoing EU-funded projects BIORURAL and SCALE UPwith the aim of cross-fertilization between the 3 projects
  • Creating links with local public authorities, namely the Brittany and Pays de la Loire Regions.
